Consult with our Technical Service Department on all application issues.

SUBSTRATES

Treated Polyethylene and Polypropylene: Especially for Coroplast, Cor-X, Hi-Cor and similar corrugated plastics graphic panels; also treated polyethylene containers and sheets (note: polyethylene requires flame or corona discharge treatment. Such treatments may have a limited shelf life).  Other substrates: glass, wood and many metal finishes, poly coated foam boards such as Gilman C-III or faced fasad sheets, some styrenes and corrugated board.

Always Test Inks With Substrate Prior To Production.

DRYING

PDQ cures by oxidation. Dry times should be compared to dry times of other enamels. Under normal conditions, PDQ dries tack free in under an hour and may be printed with a second color. Printed film should be racked for a day prior to scratch or tape test. Bakes dry to touch in a batch oven at 180 - 200 F in under 5 minutes; 72 hours for oxidation to occur.

STENCILS

CudnerCote or other direct method emulsions, capillary films.

SCREEN MESH

160 to 300 + monofilament.

SQUEEGEES

All types, 60 to 80 durometer.

MODIFIERS
