TRUE FUSION SYSTEM FOR VINYL, POLYCARBONATE & OTHER PLASTICS |
| SGV Gloss and VC Flat Vinyl Inks are true fusion formulations that offer optimum adhesion to rigid, semi-rigid and flexible vinyls. Both vinyl series print beautifully and dry fast to a flexible finish, making them ideal for extended use films, such as Scotchcal. Also recommended for polycarbonates and other plastics. |

Flexible pressure sensitive vinyls: Cast and calendered outdoor films such as Scotchcal, Avery, Meyercord, General Formulations. Rigid sheet vinyl and foamed vinyl graphics panels: Sintra, Trovicel, Celtec, Vekaplan. VC Flat vinyl is recommended for highly plastisized or recycled soft vinyls as it resists rewetting. Also recommended for Lexan, Makrofol and other polycarbonates, some acrylics, and other substrates with vinyl coatings.
VC & SGV inks dry through solvent evaporation. Fresh Air volume is more of a factor in dry time then temperature. Force Dry: for high volume air dryer (3000-5000 cfm, equipped with air knives) at 100-120F: 30-60 seconds. Air Dry: 15-45 minutes depending on air circulation and temperature.
CudnerCote or other direct method emulsions, capillary films.
160-300+ monofilament.
All types, 60 to 80 durometer.
REDUCER: Use SGV-701 or VC-101 to achieve desired viscosity. Mixing Colors should be used without thinning. RETARDER: Use SGV-720 or VC-120 to slow in screen drying. Excess use of Retarder will inhibit curing of the printed film. FLOW-PROMOTER: To improve ink flow-out, use SGV-11335.
Approximately 1200 Sq. Ft/Gallon.
V-SERIES Process Color Systems
High viscosity, low solids base and toner concentrates for 4-color process printing on vinyls & other plastics. Two-part system allows printers to formulate proper densities for mesh and halftone requirements.
Print-ready colors are also available as special custom orders. One Gallon minimum per color.
