CM-7002 Screenable Mask

 

CM-7002 is a water based screenable mask which provides a protective film overlay on pre-printed and/or finished parts to protect them from scratches and other abrasive stress during subsequent handling and shipping. After the mask had dried, it can be then be easily removed/peeled from the substrate.

Modification

 

Generally none required.

 

Drying

CM-7002 dries by evaporation. We recommend drying the mask using forced air at 120 °F for approximately 30 seconds. Note: Actual drying time will be dependent upon film deposition, air volume, movement and impingement on the printed part.
 

Stencils

Water resistant emulsions/films.

 

Screen Mesh

50 to 110 TPI monofilament fabrics.

 

Squeegee

60 to 70 durometer.

Warm Water
